Thoughts On Becoming a Father
In a few weeks, I’m going to dive into a new level of adult-hood…Here are some thoughts:
I don’t want to mess up, even though I know I will. I don’t want to come at parenting with the “we’ll figure it out as we go” attitude. I want to parent with the “Here’s what we’ll do, and if we need to adjust, we will” attitude.
My biggest fear is not being able to relate to my kids…and it just so happens that our first will be a girl…FEAR.
I’m excited about the future. Parenting is something that I always knew was going to be a huge part of my life, and now it’s here.
I think I want to try to make my kids Rockstars…maybe not musically, but at least in the “cool” factor.
